For our Independence Day show, music from the 1997 revival of the 1969 musical account of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, 1776. The production starred Brent Spiner (of STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION) as John Adams.

The Congressional Custodian reads the latest dispatch from General Washington and John Adams wonders whether or not anyone is listening. This is a showpiece for the actor playing Adams. The play ends with the signing of the Declaration.
