In this opening song, Tracy Tumblad - a big girl with big hair and bigger ideas - wakes up and enthusiastically greets a new day. Hairspray opened at the Neil Simon Theatre on August 15th, 2002.
Welcome to the 60's Hairspray (OC 2002) Marissa Janet Winokur, Harvey Fierstein and "The Dynamites" (Shanya, Steele, Kamilah Martin, Judine Richárd) Thanks to an appearance on the Corny Collins Show, Tracy is a star. She urges her mom (Fierstein, in the role played by female impersonator Divine in the film) to get with the decade.

Bombay Dreams Bombay Dreams (OC 2002) Ensemble, featuring Dalip Tahil, Raj Ghatak, Karen David and Preeya Kalidas Bombay Dreams, which opened at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in London on June 19, 2002, is the latest work from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Theatre Company. It has music by A. R. Rahman, lyrics by Don Black and book by Meera Syai
Shakalaka Baby Bombay Dreams (OC 2002) Preeya Kalidas, Raza Jeffrey The story of Bombay Dreams concerns a young man trying to escape poverty by becoming a star in the Indian film industry.
It Started With a Dream It Started With a Dream (2002) Cy Coleman, Lilias White This is from a new CD of Cy Coleman songs performed by Coleman, with guest appearances by White and Tony Bennett. A prolific songwriter, Coleman's Broadway hits have included Barnum (1980), Sweet Charity (1966), City of Angels (1989), Little Me (1962) and On the Twentieth Century (1978). Unlike many composers, Coleman is a persuasive performer.
