The Kramer Marionette Theatre presents An Elfin Christmas through January 5 at 4143 Laclede in the Central West End. Performances are Mondays through Saturdays at 11:15 AM and 2:15 PM and Sundays at 2:15 PM. Demonstrations take place one hour and fifteen minutes before each performance. The Theatre Guild of Webster Groves presents Agatha Christie's The Spider's Web, opening Friday [January 3] and running through January 12. Brand X Comedy Troupe is hosting auditions for sketch and improvisational actors. Call Doug at 314-776-4469 to schedule an appointment.

Volunteer adult actors, both able-bodied and disabled, are wanted as ensemble members and alternates for The DisAbility Project. The DisAbility Project provides professional and non-professional actors the opportunity to act and create performance pieces. You "must be a team player, able to memorize lines, speak audibly, have reliable transportation and be available most Saturday mornings for the workshop and occasional evenings during the week for rehearsal and/or presentations". The Project rehearses most Saturday mornings from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Washington University School of Medicine Program in Occupational Therapy building at 4444 Forest Park Parkway, in the Central West End, just west of Newstead. The Off Center Theatre Company announces auditions for Beth Henley's Impossible Marriage, with roles available for four men and three women. Center Stage Theatre at St. Charles Community College holds children's auditions for Christopher Sergel's dramatization of Harper Lee's novel To Kill a Mockingbird. Auditions will consist of readings from the script, and any auditioner who has prepared an audition monologue may present it.
